This delicious Williamson album has been sitting on my drafts for so long… Hopefully I hit publish before we all blew up and you’ll be able to enjoy every detail of this specially crafted music.

Last Saturday my mom asked me to put up a playlist to her birthday party. She said she’d like something “lounge”, just some music to be playing while people chat. Former parties immediately stormed into my mind. Not really nice memories. People, usually, don’t like music I like, they think its weird, they think it’s bad, they ask me to change it, please.
Me: I don’t have any cool songs, mom.
Mom: Of course you have. Just put on anything and it will be ok.
There I went to choose some songs… disbelieving I would find any. Choices were obvious and in less then 10 minutes I had 2 days and 15 hours ready to play for the next 4 hours. I started to believe.
I set up the equipment and let it go randomly. Whooa. It was nice. Music was really nice. I really had cool songs to play.
About 60% of the artists have already appeared here, including Vate, Anawin, …and nobody cared, Antony Raijekov, Axial, ElectroLatrine, fonetik, Jade, Lunar, Oprachina, Philippe Mangold, Jonathan Rickert, SaReGaMa, Silence and Triplexity.
The night was good and I was really enjoying the random music.
However, after the cake the cold and sad reality started to show up. People asked me what is this music. People said it is weird. Some people asked to change it, please. People asked for some music they knew. People wanted to know where did I get these songs. Maybe it was the sugar.
It’s ok, they never liked it anyway. Still, they listened for some time.
And then I went off to see some furniture.
Extraordinary album!!! Triplexity is a virtual band between Nikila, SaReGaMa and Hamelin Bérengnier, build upon live collaboration thru the internet! I was already familiar with SaReGaMa’s unique music style (see 4D Reality and The Pluteus Trip compilation) and was expecting good music for this self-tagged different forms of NuJazz collaboration. It came out extremely nice! A mix of jazz, chillout, kind of meditative, with excellent instrumental melodic lines (sax, clarinet…) ok, go and download!
Listen to the song Three 4 Ten
Plutei are born in the seawater. They represent a specific life stage (larva) of some marine invertebrates, the Echinoderms. Most of them are less than 1mm long, so tiny that inertial forces are dominated by viscous forces of the water. Just imagine if air was honey and we had to go for a walk… Plutei can swim and feed in this environment using their long arms and cilia. However, Plutei are ephemeral. They swim (and eat) for weeks or maybe months, before something else takes place. Currents can take them really far away from the place they were born. Millions of Plutei are born at once. How many would survive? How many would be thousands of miles away? How many would get proper food and not be eaten? Plutei carry the tissue of adults inside them. The food they eat, goes to adult tissues. In the end, the adult in formation takes over the larval body and the Pluteus is gone.
Plutei are part of the ocean’s hidden life. Organisms we can’t see easily, but that certainly got in between our toes when walking along the beach, or were swallowed during a swim… Its crazy and different “life” inspired the first compilation of songs from ccNeLaS, The Pluteus Trip. Download and listen, hope you like it! Go to the compilation page or continue below.

Please read before listening:
Smoky Jazz Dub is a journey, its a story of a single night…(after hours) you are out late drinking your troubles away in a sleezy jazz bar, you find yourself chatting with someone. You’re both happy of the company.
(back for coffee) Time passes and you decide to go back to their place for a coffee. Things get laid back, chilled out and physical.
(shuffle) Soon passions rise, things get heated and the night begins…….
(countdown) its much later, things are calm again, you both drift in and out of consciousness in each others arms, exhausted, yet vaguely thoughtful of the night thats almost finished.
(good bye and so long) ….. morning comes, its time to face reality, you can stay and face the awkwardness or you can quietly get dressed and leave. You decide on the latter, you leave a little note – good bye and so long x
Great description of this chillout album!
This beautiful composition was found in BeatPick music label, who kindly provided access to the songs for podcasting (thanks to katy)!
Tea Lounge Groove is a blend of ancient and recent world sounds from different cultures, with a special eastern taste. Songs are very rich and ecletic making it suitable to all audiences 🙂
Sit back and relax!
A little bit of jazz, a little bit of chill and a touch of lounge… High quality music coming from the Bulgarian Antony Raijekov. This album creates a sophisticated atmosphere with jazzy elements and electronic notes. I specially like improvisation moments of some songs, which makes me wonder how cool a live performance would be!
